Thanksgiving at Matt and Holly's Home
(Posted 12/05/08) - Matt and Holly hosted this year's Thanksgiving celebration at their new home in Roscoe Village. Holly's folks (Jeral and Betty) drove up early in the week and were integral in helping prepare the delicious meal we all enjoyed.
Pat and I brought home-made cranberry sauce and sparkling conversation (both easy to provide). One of Betty's relatives who lives in Grand Rapids Michigan and his step-daughter were also able to attend. It was a very pleasant afternoon.
Strider the wonder dog was in attendance and indicated that he thought the kid's new home was top notch! Maybe next time the Blairs visit Ranger can come too?
We didn't pull out the camera until just before we left, so the beautiful table setting and food are recorded only in our mind's eye. Here's a shot of the remaining cast of characters.
