Pictures of Graded and Sodded Lot
December 4th, 2008 - A team of two worked for four days (Nov 25-26th and 28-29th) to grade and sod our lot, just before the weather closed down such activities for the year! They also installed 110 feet of PVC drain pipe connecting a back yard drain and our sump-pump to a 64 cubic foot dry-well (4x4x4) in our front yard.
They used nothing more than a wheelbarrow, a walk behind 1/3 yard bucket bobcat, and a 1-1/2 ton dump truck to do all the work. It was very labor intensive but had low impact on the driveway surface (which had been a major concern).
Overall I felt we got a great job at the best price possible. We plan to use Lupe's Landscaping this spring for our planting and back yard work.
Here are two photos I took right after they finished. We have several inches of snow on the ground right now, so the Civil Engineering Services survey team has not been able to shoot the grading heights to make sure all is within spec. Once that is complete we will submit the measurements to the village engineers for approval of the grading work.
